You will need:

3 8 oz packages of cream cheese
16 oz cup of claw crab meat (I use this instead of lump crab meat because it has more flavor and it is cheaper) Everyone likes it.
2 tablespoons of Old Bay (or to taste)
1 teaspoon of dry mustard

French Bread for dipping or anything else that you would like to dip into it!

Step 1: cube cream cheese
Step 2: place cream cheese into hot saucepan (Note make sure that pan is on low heat or the cheese will burn and this can happen fast)
Step 3: slowly melt cheese (stirring frequently)
Step 4: once cheese is melted add all of your other ingredients
Step 5: blend well and make sure that crab dip is heated all the way through
Step 6: don’t forget to taste test (add more Old Bay if needed)

What’s for dinner? For Valentine’s Day dinner I made a grilled salmon steak, sautéed veggies and peaches on the side.

Grilled Salmon Steaks

First I squeezed a lemon over both sides of the salmon
Then sprinkled a little bit of salt, pepper, and my Pampered Chef Citrus & Basil Rub on both sides
Place on hot grill (temp. was at 350) cooked until it was golden brown then flipped (fish should turn white in color all the way through) let brown on other side
It should only take about 4 min. on each side (always check to make sure it is dune)

Sautéed Veggies

Heat skillet on med. heat
Add a table spoon of butter
Add your veggies
Season with salt & pepper or with any other spices that you would like
Cook for just a few min.

Peaches

I cheated on the peaches, and used caned peaches. Caned peaches have a different texture then the fresh. Besides the fresh take more work in prep them. They where Dole peaches in the plastic bottle.

What’s for dinner? Tonight we had pulled BBQ beef sandwiches with Utz potato chips on the side. I placed a beef roast in the crock pot and covered it with water. Then added a bottle of BBQ sauce maybe some salt and pepper. You can of course use any kind that you like. Leave in pot for several hours until meat is falling apart. It is best to do before you leave for work.

Make sure that you know how long you can leave this on. So just check the directions that came with the crock pot. Some come with timers. I am not an expert on crock pots, and I wouldn’t want you to burn down your house.

When you come home your dinner will be ready. Place meat on roll you may want to add a little bit of the BBQ sauce to the roll. Then add chips or french fries and enjoy!
