Ok so this one is a long time in coming so here it is. It is a very simple one.

You will need:
1 package of Pillsbury crescent rolls
a bag of Perdue already cooked chicken strips
a bag of mexican shredded cheese
a jar of salsa/ or you can cut up your own vegetables to add, like peppers, tomatoes, & onions
Place crescent rolls on a greased cookie sheet in the shape of a pen-weal. You will need to be able to pull the sides up to create a pocket.
Now keeping everything in the center of the pasty spread out your salsa, then sprinkle the cheese on top, and then add the chicken. Add vegetables at this pint if you want.
Carefully pull up the sides to cover all the goodies.
Optional brush top with melted butter.
Place in a preheated oven and cook until golden brown on top and on the bottom.

There are many different ways to do this recipe. You can stuff this with all kinds of things.

For example:
Ham and cheese
veggies
Ground beef can be a substitute for the chicken in the recipe above
Apples, butter, and cinnamon
Any Pie filling, I love cherry
The options are endless!

Please leave me a comment below to let me know what you stuff in your pastry! I wold love to hear your ideas.

What’s for dinner? To night I had some left over rotisserie chicken, so I made a chicken taco salad. The ingredients where chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, can of black beans (rinse them well before use), Sargento’s 4 cheese mexican, salsa, Tostitos chips. I put the salad together and then heated the chicken up and added it to the salad. Plated the chips and put the salsa in a separate bowl. That was so that Aaron could add however much he wanted to his salad. Enjoy!
