My son wanted to have a Batman birthday party for his fourth birthday. It was a very fun party to decorate for, but there was one treat that was so cool! I took the Rice Krispies treats recipe and changed it up a little. Instead of using white marshmallows I came across chocolate marshmallows. All I needed then was a bat cookie cutter and I had Batman Rice Krispie treats! Here is the recipe.
You will need:
3 Tablespoons Margarine or Butter
1 Package (10oz., about 40) regular marshmallows or 4 cups miniature marshmallows (Note use Chocolate Marshmallows for the Batman recipe)
6 cups Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal

Melt it!

Melt margarine or butter in large saucepan over low heat (Note: I did not try this but if you can’t find Chocolate Marshmallows try adding a few drops of black food coloring to the butter and mix it in well, then add the white marshmallows). Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

Mix it!

Add Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.

Spread it!

Using a buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into a 13×9x2- inch pan coated with cooking spray. When Rice Krispies have cooled then using your bat cookie cutter cut out your bats.

Great for those who are looking to host a Batman movie marathon! Good treat for kids of all ages!

Ok so this one is a long time in coming so here it is. It is a very simple one.

You will need:
1 package of Pillsbury crescent rolls
a bag of Perdue already cooked chicken strips
a bag of mexican shredded cheese
a jar of salsa/ or you can cut up your own vegetables to add, like peppers, tomatoes, & onions
Place crescent rolls on a greased cookie sheet in the shape of a pen-weal. You will need to be able to pull the sides up to create a pocket.
Now keeping everything in the center of the pasty spread out your salsa, then sprinkle the cheese on top, and then add the chicken. Add vegetables at this pint if you want.
Carefully pull up the sides to cover all the goodies.
Optional brush top with melted butter.
Place in a preheated oven and cook until golden brown on top and on the bottom.

There are many different ways to do this recipe. You can stuff this with all kinds of things.

For example:
Ham and cheese
veggies
Ground beef can be a substitute for the chicken in the recipe above
Apples, butter, and cinnamon
Any Pie filling, I love cherry
The options are endless!

Please leave me a comment below to let me know what you stuff in your pastry! I wold love to hear your ideas.

A while ago I wrote a post called Do men really just want sex? . So now what do women want form their man?

If you look at a lot of the movies now a days they will tell you that women want love and romance. While this is true to some extent this thought is not totally accurate. Love is show as some kind of high in the sky feeling that is hard to reach. We make it to complicated. So lets bring it down to earth. Women want more then what we view as “love”.Women want closeness - she wants you to be close to her.

Women want openness - she wants you to open up to her.

Women want understanding - don’t try to “Fix” her; just listen.

Women want peacemaking - she wants you to say “I’m sorry”

Women want loyalty - she needs to know that you are committed to her. She does not want to share you with another women.

Women want esteem - she wants you to honor and cherish her.

Through these ways we know that you love, value, respect, and care about us and who we are.
