Summer Snack

One of my favorite snacks to have is fresh vegetables with dill dip. It is a light snack that is good for you. I love to eat carets, bell peppers, and cucumbers with the dip. Enjoy!

Salmon Dinner

For dinner the other night we had a salmon steaks, yams, and stuffed bell peppers.
You will need:
fresh yams
large bell peppers (that will sit still on there bottom or on there side)
rice
cheese
butter
fresh salmon steaks
1 fresh lemon
salt & pepper
cinnamon
McCormick Lemon & herb seasoning

Candied Yams

Do you need to get your kids to eat there vegetables? This is a dish that they may like. Mine does.

Simple Syrup

Simple Syrup is easy to make. You take one part water to two parts sugar.
Bring water to a boil and then add your sugar. As soon as the sugar melts remove it from the heat. Let is cool and then store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.

For dinner the other night I made a Mediterranean chicken sandwich for Aaron.
First I cooked the Mediterranean chicken that I had bought from Omaha Steaks. Then I toasted the bread; added mayo, American cheese, and lettuce. Placed the chicken on it, and it was good to go! Quick and easy!
