Do you put value on your relationships?

At the thought of this question I am sure that we would all answer yes, but do we really? We live in such a fast passed world and it is SO easy to meet people. There are all kinds of social meet ups. Not to mention the internet! The internet gives us the capability to talk at the speed of light. You can use chat rooms, twitter, facebook, pownce, there is speed dating, and lets not forget myspace. Just to name a few. I could sit hear all day and list even more. But I wont you get the point. Are we really making friends or are we just playing the game. Just getting caught up in the hype, or is there more to this.
Meeting people is one thing but creating a lasting relationship is something total different. Now I know for a fact that there are people creating real relationships by using the things that I have mentioned. I use a few myself, and I am meeting some great people. The question again is are we putting value on these relationships. In a day and age where everything comes and goes so quickly. We need to remember to stop. Look around us because there are a lot of great people out there. I am sure that at this very moment you are sitting next to or online with one right now. We want to feel like others value us and the same goes for them. Take the time to show them that they do matter and that you do care. Invest in someone outside your self.
So here we are on Valentine’s Day don’t just say I Love You. Show someone that you care. It can be anyone.
Remember actions speak louder then words.
To you all Happy Valentine’s Day!
